About the Narre Warren Fire Brigade |
|
The Narre Warren Fire Brigade is a fully volunteer organization located in the CFA's Region 8, approximately 40 km south-east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.It is located in the City Of Casey which is the 2nd fastest growing municipality in Australia. Our primary brigade area consists of 193,700 square metres of office, commercial and retail floor space. In 1997 the population was 26,000 people in 8,870 houses. This grew to 30,000 people and 10,500 houses in 1999, and was expected to grow in 2001 to 34,300 population and 12,300 houses. We have over 8,800 cars registered in our area. We also have the Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre in our area, which is one of the larger shopping centres in Victoria, with an area of 81,300 square metres, containing 250 shops. Also within the area is a large $18 Million swimming complex which has a number of pools, including a wave pool.
